Age Concern is a federation of registered charities

Sally Hutchinson
Chief Officer
sally@ageconcernyork.org.uk

Age Concern York encourages older people themselves to speak out about local and national issues. We are involved in group discussions at senior management level with statutory agencies to enable joint planning of the provision of appropriate services for older people.

Age Concern York has been working for older people in York for over thirty years. We provide a wide range of personal and practical support, including giving advice, arranging for respite care and friendly visitors, helping people after a stay in hospital, doing small jobs in the house and garden and running trips, holidays and other leisure activities.
