INCOME
GENERATION
The Income Generation
Manager's role is to maximise all areas of income activity, from
our six Charity shops, our Age Concern Insurance services, fundraising
through street collections to events such as the recent Christmas
Concert at St Peters, donations, legacies, and bidding for grants
from Trusts. This work would not be possible without the efforts
of our volunteers. I am keen to try and establish a "Friends of
Age Concern York" team to fundraise at a small local level within
their own communities. Please contact me if you can help in any
way.
FUNDRAISING
Fundraising
is an essential part of our work. The larger proportion of our income
comes from our shops, fundraising events, voluntary donations and
legacies. The remainder is provided by local authorities and other
bodies. Many people are involved in our fundraising efforts. It's
hard work but it can be fun! If you can help in any way please contact
us at our office in Walmgate. Contact: Our Income Generation Manager
on 627995 or 621020.
DEEDS
OF COVENANT & GIFT AID
To continue
our work with older people we rely very considerably on gifts and
donated goods. You may like to help by making annual payments under
deeds of covenant, or by making a tax-free cash gift using Gift
Aid tax relief. If you wish to help in this way please print out
and complete the Gift Aid Declaration form
and send it with your donation to:-
